Because I live in an environment where my family does not speak the majority language(s) at home, I like to look for ways to stimulate our vocabulary growth.
In our case we speak Mandarin Chinese and English at home, while living in a Dutch-speaking region.
I try this in a few different ways, such as watching movies, TV shows, reading books, creating memories and experiences; and obviously talking and communicating as much as I can.
